From Frustration to Fury: My Awful Experience with Their 'Express' Shipping 😤


I'm writing this as a warning after my truly awful online shopping experience. My old glasses broke, so I urgently needed a new pair and paid for 3-5 day express shipping. The whole ordeal left me feeling completely ignored and ripped off, and I feel I have to share my conclusion: "Terrible company. Ordered glasses March 30th, paid for express shipping 3-5 because my old glasses broke. Day 5 roles around still in production, day 10 still in production. Day 11 I call to ask for a shipping refund, they seemed like they do it all the time by the way she responded. So i got the 10$ in shipping but these glasses are STILL 6 days out on delivery. Stop giving terrible companies your money let them die out because someone doesnt give a crap about their customers and I will telling all my four eyed friends to never shop here. Terrible terrible terrible. Day 19 or whatever still no glasses!!!" The complete lack of communication is what forced me to finally call them.

Customer: Hi, my order was placed 11 days ago and I paid for 3-5 day express shipping. The status still says it’s in production. I need an update, this is unacceptable.

CS Rep: I am very sorry for the delay you're experiencing. Can you please provide me with your order number so I can look into that for you?

Customer: It’s [order number]. Frankly, I want a refund for the express shipping. I paid for a service you clearly haven't provided.

CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration. I see the delay here in our system, and I sincerely apologize. I can go ahead and process that $10 shipping refund for you right now.

Customer: Okay, thank you. But that doesn’t solve my main problem. When am I actually going to get the glasses I need?

CS Rep: I've checked with the lab, and it looks like it's estimated to ship in two days, with a new delivery date six days from now. Again, I am truly sorry for this wait.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
