A $347 Mistake: Horrible Customer Service & No Refund 😡
I need to share my experience as a warning to others. I thought I was doing everything right, but my attempt to return a pair of glasses turned into a nightmare. It was defined by horrible customer service. Following their 14 day return policy I used their return authorization within the time limit, shipped glasses back via UPS at their recommendation, yet no credit or contact of any kind. There is no phone number that connects, rather a robot chat session that leads to circular frustration. This is a total waste of $347 and I've already shipped the product back with their authorization form. Buy at your own risk. After being stuck in that automated loop, I finally managed to get a live agent, which compelled me to document this whole frustrating ordeal.
Customer: My return was delivered over a week ago. I've heard nothing and I'm out $347. Where is my refund?
CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the delay and the lack of communication. Could you please provide your order number so I can investigate this for you immediately?
Customer: Here it is. Your automated chat is a useless circle and there's no phone number. I followed your policy perfectly and got complete silence. This is unacceptable.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and you are right to be upset. Thank you for the number. I see your return was received but the refund was not processed due to a system error. I am so sorry. I am issuing your full $347 refund right now.
Customer: It shouldn't be this hard to get my money back. When will I actually see that credit?
CS Rep: The refund has been initiated and you should see it back in your account within 3 to 5 business days. I've also sent a confirmation email for your records.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
