My Cautionary Tale with Glasses USA: Paid for Express Shipping, Waited for Weeks 😡
I'm writing this as a cautionary tale about my terrible online shopping experience. I desperately needed new glasses after my old ones broke, so I ordered a pair from Glasses USA on March 30th and even paid for 3-5 day express shipping. My conclusion after weeks of waiting is that this is a terrible company. Ordered glasses March 30th, paid for express shipping 3-5 because my old glasses broke. Day 5 roles around still in production, day 10 still in production… Stop giving terrible companies your money let them die out because someone doesnt give a crap about their customers and I will telling all my four eyed friends to never shop here. Terrible terrible terrible. This whole frustrating ordeal compelled me to leave this review and get on the phone with their customer service one more time.
Customer: I’m calling about my order from March 30th. I paid for express shipping and it's been almost three weeks. I still don't have my glasses! CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about this extreme delay. I can only imagine how frustrating this has been, especially since you needed them urgently. Let me look into that for you right now. Customer: I already called and got the shipping fee refunded, but that's not the point. It’s day 19 and I still can't see properly. Your service is a joke. CS Rep: You are absolutely right to be upset, and I sincerely apologize. This is completely unacceptable and not the standard we aim for. I see the production holdup in our system. I've located your package, and it shows it is now out for delivery today. For this failure in service, I am processing an additional 50% refund on your entire order. Customer: Fine. I just want the glasses. I shouldn't have to chase you down like this. CS Rep: You absolutely shouldn't. I will personally follow up via email this evening to confirm you've received them. Again, my deepest apologies for this experience.
