Express Shipping Nightmare: 20 Days, No Glasses! 😤
Let me share a truly terrible online shopping experience that I hope serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering ordering glasses online. I ordered glasses on March 30th and paid for express shipping, expecting them in 3-5 days because my old glasses broke. Day 5 rolled around, and they were still in production. Day 10, still in production. This company is truly terrible; day 19 or whatever and I still have no glasses! I felt compelled to leave a review and engage with customer service because this level of delay and disregard for paid services is completely unacceptable.
Customer: Hello, I'm calling about my recent order. I ordered glasses on March 30th and paid for 3-5 day express shipping because my old ones broke. It's now been almost 20 days, and I still don't have them! This is unacceptable.
CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration. That is certainly not the experience we want for our customers, especially when you paid for expedited shipping. Can I have your order number or email, please?
Customer: It's [hypothetical order number]. I just want to know what's going on and when I can actually expect my glasses. I already called on Day 11 to ask for a shipping refund, which I got, but that doesn't help that I'm still without glasses.
CS Rep: Thank you. I see here that your order is still showing as being in production, which is definitely much longer than it should be. I sincerely apologize for this significant delay. We've had an unforeseen backlog, but that's no excuse for the lack of communication on our part.
Customer: So, what are you going to do about it? I needed these glasses weeks ago. "Unforeseen backlog" doesn't help me see.
